Astronomical Clock
Whether you’re the friend who always asks about everyone’s zodiac sign or the one who doesn’t care about horoscopes, you’ll find Prague’s astronomical clock beautiful. Architecturally, it is stunning, but that’s not the only reason I include it in my list…
Walking around Prague felt like stepping into a fairytale. The streets and people seemed joyful, as if they had just walked out of a princess’s storybook. What does this have to do with the astronomical clock? Well, you can go up the clock tower and see the city from above. The view is breathtaking, and believe me when I say that no picture I include in this article can do it justice. In other words, I recommend this tourist site to absolutely anyone reading.
Prague’s Illusion Museum
This next attraction is more suited to families or modern art lovers. It is Prague’s Illusion Museum. In Miami, we have illusion museums and many modern art museums, but none quite like this one. Generally, in Miami, illusion museums are heavily based on technology, bright colors, or illusion rooms. In Prague, artists take everyday items and create illusions with them. I found it quite interesting and especially good for traveling with kids.
Prague Castle
If you’re traveling to Prague, you must go to the castle. It’s like going to Paris for the first time and not seeing the Eiffel Tower; you just have to! Luckily, the walk there is enjoyable as well. If you tend to visit historical landmarks when you travel, I think you’ll especially like this attraction.
Charles Bridge
Like the castle, Charles Bridge is another Prague staple. This bridge connects the castle with the Old Town and other areas. It is also the perfect spot to take your “on vacation” Instagram post.
Karlovy Lázně
I write this last recommendation for my audience who likes to party when they travel. I know Miami is known for its nightclubs and nightlife, but I was utterly impressed with this club in Prague. Karlovy Lázně has six floors, each with different themes and music. Get tired of hearing dance music? Head to the first floor to hear oldies!
I personally went with a big group, and we all had a blast! We spent the whole night laughing, singing, or dancing. Don’t leave without going to the Ice Pub on the ground floor! Those pictures are priceless.
