Mykonos is known worldwide for its nonstop party life. Although I have been there a few times, there is one spot I find myself going back to every time. Whether it’s with family or friends, Tropicana Mykonos is a must-visit.
Tropicana is perfect for traveling with family and looking for a place to relax in the sun. I prefer this beach over the one in town. It’s less crowded, more comfortable, and offers a better atmosphere. In the morning and early afternoon, the vibe is calm and peaceful. You can grab a chair, dip in the ocean, and enjoy food and drinks while soaking up the sun. Surprisingly, for a beach club in Mykonos, the food is really good (especially the Greek salad). And, of course, the cocktails are colorful, delicious and come in all sizes. If you’d rather sit in the shade, tables are also available.
But hey, this is still Mykonos we’re talking about. Around 4 PM, the music starts getting louder, signaling that the party is about to begin. You can stay on the beach working on your tan if you want, but closer to the bar, the energy shifts. By 5 PM, people are on tables near the DJ, dancing and ready to party. Who doesn’t love drinking and dancing by the beach? Especially those of you reading this from Miami—you know what I mean! If you love the Miami beach clubs, you’ll feel right at home here, but with the charm and scenery that only Mykonos can offer.
The party continues until midnight as people either head home or move on to the next spot. Whether you leave early or party into the night, the experience is up to you and your group. Tropicana is the place to be if you’re looking for a relaxing beach day that can seamlessly turn into a lively beach club experience. It offers the perfect balance—a peaceful beach setting with the option to join the party when the mood strikes.
